LPC & DineticQ Partner for PaceFlow Launch

Updated: Feb 12

TMA Sport is delighted to announce that Liam Plunkett Cricket (LPC) is bringing more ways for their users to hone their bowling skills with DineticQ’s new Paceflow app. The software, which is now available for use, collates data from a recorded video of a bowl so that the bowler can get feedback on their form on how they can improve their bowling technique.

The new tech, Paceflow, provides fast-bowlers with in-depth information on their bowl so they can try to improve in various areas. The key areas that are monitored are form, legality and injury prevention feedback. Through capturing various data points on the body, the software can track factors such as the shape of the arm, the plating of the feet and the body shape. Then based on captured data, the app can provide key feedback in these areas. With multiple recordings, bowlers will be able to see developments and progression in their bowl.

“This product is a great tool for any fast-bowler to get technical feedback on their bowl”, says LPC founder Liam Plunkett. “Paired with our online courses and cricket bowling technique teaching, I can see no reason why bowlers wouldn’t want to use this software to their advantage”.

Both the LPC courses and the Paceflow software are available to be accessed remotely and from a device; making both very accessible tools for any aspiring or training cricketer. Anyone, anywhere, can improve their cricket technique and put it into practice.

Bowling Feedback & Tips Based On Scientific Data

The Paceflow product utilises biomechanics data at its core to provide AI-driven feedback for cricketers and sportsmen. After years in the making, this leading piece of sports technology is ready for general use, the app making it super accessible to general users. As well as providing feedback and tips on improvement, the software can help to identify new talent and help younger cricketers get their technique right from the very start. Sports technology is certainly growing and can now support the next generation of cricket players.

“We’ve worked with all of the top bowlers that have come through England” states Professor Mark King, Chief Science Officer for DineticQ. The program has undergone many testing phases with bowlers being put through their paces for testing the software. “We wanted to take all of that knowledge and put it into a video-based product that anybody could access through their smart phone”, continues Professor King, “and Paceflow is that”. Paceflow users can log onto their account to easily upload new bowls or view previous results/feedback.

LPC welcomes Paceflow as a new perk for its LPC Members Club, who will get 25% off any Paceflow Dineticqs report. The Members Club gives signed up members access to exclusive access and discounts which aren’t available anywhere else.
