Dive into the World of AP Race.

If you’re in the world of swimming, as an athlete, coach, parent or club official, then the name Adam Peaty probably rings a bell. But what you may not know, is that alongside the triple Olympic champion Adam Peaty and fellow elite Swimmer, AP Race co-founder, Ed Baxter, a powerful movement in swimming is gaining serious traction.

Founded in 2019, AP Race was born to reconsider and rethink the traditional pathways in aquatic sports. With Adam Peaty and AP Race co-founder Ed Baxter’s mission: to make elite-level support and education in swimming accessible for athletes at all stages of their journey. Whether you’re on your first few lengths or gunning for your next personal best, AP Race offers tools, knowledge, and experiences that help you become, as their philosophy goes, Better Than Yesterday.

So, what is AP Race?

At its core, AP Race is an athlete-first performance brand, but to its athletes it is so much more than that. With the goal of modernising swimming development, the team has created a platform where education, performance and community intertwine. AP Race teamed up with Swim England to bring lasting, positive changes to the UK Swim scene by offering top-tier support not only to athletes but to coaches, parents and officials too.

As Adam Peaty states: being Better Than Yesterday is not exclusively about swimming faster but about understanding what fuels your continuous progression from the physical training to psychology, nutrition, lifestyle and more.

And that’s where AP Race Clinics come in.

AP Race Clinics provide swimmers the opportunity to train and learn with some of the best minds and athletes in the world. From Olympic medallists, world record holders, and leading practitioners in areas like strength and conditioning, performance mindset, nutrition and even parent support. These clinics don’t only focus on technique but build athletes holistically. This is a long-term athlete development with a personal touch.

And clearly, it’s working.

AP Race recently hosted their third AP Race London International event between May 24th and May 26th 2025, drawing in over 10,000 spectators and over 850 athletes, not to mention the £25,000 reinvestment into the local swimming community. That kind of impact is hard to ignore, and AP Race does not intend to stop.

The exciting part? New dates for AP Race clinics have been announced across the world - AP Race is going global! Whether you’re based in the UK or halfway across the globe, there’s a date for you to jump in:

These clinics are open to all; however, places tend to fill quickly. Whether representing a swim club, looking to upskill your squad, or an individual athlete looking for the next performance edge, this is the kind of opportunity that only comes around once in a season.
